Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Temp-to-Perm

Location:  West Windsor Township, NJ 08550

Schedule: 7:45 AM – 4:45 PM
Interview: Virtual, on-camera via Microsoft Teams
Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm

Position Overview

Seeking an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to support the clinical team at Hightstown Medical Associates. The ideal candidate will have strong outpatient clinical experience, EPIC experience, and excellent patient communication skills. Bilingual candidates will receive first consideration.

Required Qualifications

• 18 months of CMA experience required
• EPIC experience required
• CMA certification
• Strong outpatient/clinical experience
• Bilingual candidates preferred
• Must be interested and willing to convert to a full-time Penn Medicine staff position

Key Responsibilities

• Room and prepare patients for provider visits.
• Obtain and document vital signs.
• Perform EKGs.
• Update and maintain accurate patient charts in EPIC.
• Answer patient messages and clinical phone-line inquiries.
• Communicate professionally with patients and clinical staff.
• Assist with stress testing as needed.
• Support providers and the clinical team with daily patient-care activities.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow practice protocols.

Training

• 5-hour EMR training on a Friday prior to the start date.
• 15-minute HIPAA training module.
• 4-day scheduling training several weeks after starting.

Temp-to-Perm Requirement

This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity. Candidates must be interested in converting to a full-time staff CMA position with Penn Medicine.

The offered contract pay rate must be within the client's conversion requirements. The candidate's offered pay rate must be included on the submission cover page.
