Schedule: Floating Shift (12x3 Hours) 36hours/week

• Unit: 4-1200 | Adult patients 18

• Patient Population: End-of-life patients requiring intensive symptom management general medicine overflow

• License: Active NYS RN License required

• Experience: 2 years recent palliative care or acute Med/Surg experience

• Certification: AHA BLS required

• Preferred: Patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) pump experience or CHPN certification

• Required Skills: Strong IV & wound care skills, astute assessment, complex patient/family management, compassion & patient advocacy

• Schedule: 36 or 48 hrs/week

• Shift: D/E/N rotating

• Weekends: Per unit needs

• Holidays: Per unit needs

• On-Call: Per unit needs

Skills:   Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Expertise Rating Move   Two (2) years' experience in palliative or acute med/surg Required           RN License (ONLY NY Licenses are accepted at this time) Required           BLS (American Heart Association ONLY) Required           Experience with patient controlled analgesia pumps or CHON Certification Highly desired
