Unit Information

• Patient Volume: Approximately 80 patients/day; 100 during winter surge

• Patient Ratio: 4–8 patients per nurse

• Equipment:

  • Client Optima CT Scanner

  • Client Portable X-Ray

• Documentation: Meditech, Sectra

• Floating: Not required

Schedule

• Hours: 36 hours

• Weekends: Rotating

• Holidays: Rotating

• Call: No on-call requirement

Hiring Profile

Must-Have Qualifications

• Ability to work independently

• Ability to cover both CT and X-Ray

• Comfortable with single-staff coverage for both modalities

• Professional and friendly demeanor

• Strong communication skills

Advanced Skills

• Acute Stroke Ready experience

• Moderate pediatric patient volume experience

Typical Procedures

• Standard emergency department imaging procedures

• No surgical procedures or biopsies

Required Certifications

• CPR
• BLS
• Radiology Tech License 
• ARRT
• ARRT-CT
