Schedule: Day Shift 3*12s 36hours/week

• Role: Registered Nurse First Assistant (RNFA) – Main OR

• Schedule: 36 or 48 hrs/week

• Shift: Monday–Friday, Days

• Call: Per unit need, until 11:00 PM only

• Weekends: No weekends

• Holidays: Per unit need

• License: NY RN License ONLY

• Experience: 2 years OR Level I Trauma experience preferred

• Certification: CNOR required

• RNFA Education: Completion of an accredited RN First Assistant program

• BLS: AHA ONLY

• ACLS: AHA preferred

• Role: Combined Circulator/Scrub RNFA

• Required DaVinci Experience:

  • Robotic Urology

  • Robotic GYN

  • Robotic Colorectal

  • Robotic Surgical Oncology (Whipples, gastrectomies, hernias, etc.)

  • Robotic Thoracic

  • Robotic General Surgery (gallbladder, appendectomy, etc.)

• Skills: Perioperative nursing, surgical first assisting, scrubbing & circulating

• Preferred: Strong robotic surgery experience and Level I Trauma experience

• Responsibilities: Collaborate with surgeons and the OR team, assist during operative procedures, support safe surgical outcomes, and perform OR RN duties when not assigned as RNFA.
