Location: Farmington, NM
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift | 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Openings: 1
Trauma Level: III
Patient Population: 911 Emergency Response
Pay: $1710 weekly gross
Position Overview
San Juan Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced Travel Paramedic to provide emergency medical services in a 911-response setting. The ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of paramedic experience, strong 911 operational skills, and an active New Mexico Paramedic License.
Shift & Scheduling

Day shift: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

36 guaranteed hours per week

Candidates will rotate between stations while working the 8 AM – 8 PM schedule.

Candidates assigned to the Modified Kelly Shift will remain at Station 1.
Required Qualifications & Certifications

Minimum 2 years of paramedic experience

Experience in 911 emergency medical operations

Active New Mexico Paramedic License

BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA)

Required paramedic education and certification

Key Responsibilities
-
Respond to 911 emergency calls and provide advanced life support (ALS) services.

Assess, stabilize, and manage patients experiencing medical emergencies and traumatic injuries.

Perform advanced prehospital assessments and administer appropriate emergency treatments.

Operate and utilize emergency medical equipment, including cardiac monitors, IV pumps, and ambulance transport systems.

Monitor patient conditions during emergency response and transport.

Maintain accurate patient care documentation using ImageTrend.

Collaborate with EMS personnel, hospital staff, and other emergency responders to ensure safe and effective patient care.

Follow established EMS protocols, emergency response procedures, and patient safety standards.
