Clinical Interviewing- Yes On Call, Call Back Requirements: Occasional Call (holiday) Weekend Rotation: Occasional weekend to fill in for weekend tech on vacation - 12 hour shifts on weekend 0700-1930 Holiday Requirements: Potential on Christmas Day 24 hour - 2300 Christmas Eve to 2300 Christmas night with 30 min response time Floating Requirements: Within ABMC campus

General Information:

• Rooms: 19 2 in C-Section, 3 in Cath Lab, and 1 Biplane

Minimum Years of Experience: At least 2 years
Will you accept a first-time traveler: Yes

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Open Hearts, GI, Ortho, Urology, Neuro, Plastic, General, Vascular, C-Sections, Cath & EP studies

Patient Ratios: N/A

Required Licensure & Certifications: BLS only

Skills required: Sterile technique, assisting with arterial and central lines, maintaining control logs, restocking, priming lines, blocks, machine checks and troubleshooting, transport, and answering phones

Support within the Department:

• OR Staff
• Anesthesia
• Leadership

Technology/Equipment:

• EMR: N/A
• Unit specific equipment: Drager Anesthesia machine, TEE machine

Floating: If yes, where: Just within hospital to the areas mentioned above

Orientation (facility and unit) : up to 1 week, based on comfort level

Scheduling:

• Weekend rotation: Will be working every Saturday and Sunday
• On call: If so, what is that schedule: No call
• Holiday Expectations: No Holidays
• Clinical Interviewing Services participants only : RTO: As part of our program, we approve up to 7 days of RTO, if the traveler is willing to extend their contract to accommodate. Are you comfortable with this: Up to 5 days
• Shift times: 0700 – 1930 Saturday Sunday and one day during the week
• Schedule cycle: 6-week blocks
