*AK CNA license can be pending, but candidate must have already submitted the Alaska CNA license application in order to apply. If they have not already submitted application please redirect.
o Candidate must provide documentation of license application that includes application submittal, application fee paid, FPs submitted, educational verification submitted, license verification submitted.
If their AK CNA license is pending they must also submit the following with their application:
oValid CNA license in another state
oVerification of completion of a formal CNA training program (must be able to provide certificate, transcript, etc.)

Start Date: ASAP
Shift: 4x12 Variable
-Note that caregivers are not asked to rotate between night/day shifts (occasional exceptions for urgent staffing needs). Shifts will be either Days or Nights, but dependent on facility needs at time of start date.

All caregivers are required to obtain the Alaska Food Worker Certification as a requirement of working in a LTC facility. Clinicans will obtain certification during orienation on-site at facility. They do not need to complete this prior to their start date. There is a one-time *** fee for this certification.

RTO Restrictions: No more than 2 weeks of RTO will be considered for a 26 Week Contract. Preference is for traveler's to be willing/able to work any holidays. All RTO must be sent with submittal. RTO will not be considered if requested after an offer or after signing contract.
Guaranteed Hours: 72 Hours per 2 weeks - Traveler can be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2 weeks

Facility will arrange for shuttle transportation to and from Anchorage at the start and end of the traveler's contract. There is also a local shuttle in Seward to assist with local transportation.
