Title: Sterile Processing Tech (SPT)
Duration: 13 weeks
Location:1555 Long Pond Rd, Rochester, NY 14626
Schedule: Day Shift 5x8-Hour (15:00p - 23:30p)

• Shift: 3:00 PM–11:30 PM

• Experience: 2 years required

• Charge Experience: Preferred

• First-Time Travelers: Accepted

• Weekend: Possible

• Call: Required

• Block Schedule: Will try to accommodate, not guaranteed

• Local: No – 50-mile radius

• License: Pending license not accepted

• RTO: Max 1 week per contract

• Certifications: CRCST or CSPDT required (CBSPD/CSPDT accepted)

• Scrubs: Provided

• Orientation: 8 hours

• Core Skills: OR sterile processing, decontamination, HLD, manual cleaning, AER, ultrasonic cleaners, washers/sterilizers, aseptic technique, tray assembly, instrument organization, labeling, wrapping & sterilization

• Scope Reprocessing: Endoscopes, bronchoscopes, colonoscopes, cystoscopes, EGD, EBUS, EUS, enteroscopes, ERCP, fiber optics, flex sigmoidoscopes, uteroscopes

• Service Lines: Bariatric, Dental, ENT, Endoscopy, General, Laparoscopic, Neuro, OB/GYN, Ortho/Total Joints, Plastics, Podiatry, Robotics, Urology, Vascular

• Testing/Monitoring: Biological & chemical indicators, steam sterilization, Sterrad testing/monitoring

• Documentation: Equipment documentation, Sterile Processing Microsystem (SPM)
