Description

Travel:First Assist / Operating Room (OR)
Start date: ASAP
Naples , FL
Duration: 13wks
Shift: Days (6:30a-5p and/or 7a-7p, with call). call requirements: Rotation with current staff to cover 4-5 weekday evening/nights and 2-4 weekend shifts over a 6 week schedule

Required: Certified First Assist or Certified Surgical Assist, BLS; CST experience preferred. Will also accept RNFA
Please note- will float between campuses as needed

Operating room assistants, also known as surgical technologists or operating room technicians, help with surgical procedures under the supervision of surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses and other members of the surgical team. They also ensure the operating room is clean before, during and after surgery. Operating room assistants usually complete accredited training through a certificate, diploma or associate's degree program and obtain voluntary certification in order to gain employment.
