Description

Title: Registered Nurse - Nursery
Duration: 13 weeks
Address: 1101 Ocilla Road, Douglas, GA, 31533
Schedule: Night Shift 3*12s 36hours/week

Schedule: Every other weekend or every weekend
Experience: Minimum 2 years of Nursery experience
Required Skills: Experience caring for sick babies is a must
Certifications: BLS, STABLE, NRP
Floating: No floating to other hospital units
Responsibilities: Attend every delivery and provide newborn care
Unit Setup: Separate Nursery from Postpartum (PP) unit; mothers may choose to send babies to the Nursery
Facility Details: 6 LDRP rooms, 2 triage rooms, 5 PP/WHS rooms, and 2 NICU beds in the Nursery
Ratios: Per AWHONN standards
Charting: Centricity (Nursery), Paragon (medications)
Charge Duties: Not required
Birth Volume: Approximately 80–90 births per month
