🏥 Registered Nurse (RN) – Telemetry | Christiana Hospital

📍 Location: Newark, Delaware

• Unit: 6A ACE Unit

• Shift: Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

• Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts

• Hours: 36 hours per week

• Start Date: 11/17

• Experience Required: Minimum 2 years of specialty experience; no exceptions

• License Requirement: Active Delaware or Compact RN license in hand

• Certifications:BLS

• Charting System: Epic

• Scrub Color: Navy Blue

• Bed Capacity: 31–40 beds

• Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 1:5

• Call Requirement: None

• Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend

• Holiday Requirement: As specified by the facility; confirm with recruiter

🩺 Patient Population & Clinical Responsibilities

• Care for geriatric patients with complex medical conditions.

• Manage patients with pneumonia, urinary tract infections (UTIs), and altered mental status.

• Monitor and care for patients experiencing gastrointestinal bleeding (GI bleed), acute kidney injury (AKI), and syncope.

• Provide care for patients with falls and fractures, as well as stroke-related conditions.

• Assist with special procedures, including lumbar punctures (LPs).

• Float to other units as assigned by staffing needs.

📋 Submission Requirements

• Active DE or Compact RN license.

• RN license number and expiration date.

• List of certifications with expiration dates.

• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of initial submission.

📅 Time-Off & Holiday Restrictions

• No more than one holiday RTO request is permitted among Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day.

• No additional RTO requests submitted after the initial submission will be considered or approved.
