Title: Registered Nurse - Palliative Care
Duration: 13 weeks

Schedule: Night Shift  3*12s  36hours/week

• Schedule: 36 or 48 hrs/week, straight nights

• Weekends/Holidays/Call: As per unit needs

• License: Active NYS RN license required

• Experience: 2 years of recent palliative care or acute Med/Surg experience

• Certification: AHA BLS required

• Telemetry: Not required

• Preferred: Patient-controlled analgesia (PCA) pump experience or CHPN certification

• Patient Population: Adults aged 18 requiring intensive end-of-life symptom management; occasional general medicine overflow

• Required Skills: Strong IV and wound care skills, excellent assessment, complex symptom management, compassionate patient care, and family support during crises

• Key Responsibility: Advocate for patients who may no longer be able to communicate their needs.
