Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: 3 × 12-hour shifts, Days/Evenings Rotational
Shift Timings: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM / 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM
Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Department (ED) experience required.

• Pediatric Emergency Department (Peds ED) experience is highly preferred.

• Strong IV skills required.

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required.

• Certifications Required: BLS, PALS, and ACLS.

• TNCC certification is a significant plus.

• Previous Epic EMR experience required.

• Must be willing to float to other campuses as needed.

Common Patient Diagnoses

• Sickle cell pain and fever

• Asthma

• Behavioral health conditions

• Diabetic ketoacidosis (DKA)

• Acute gastroenteritis (AGE)

• Pediatric fever and related conditions

Drips and Medications

• Insulin drips

• Sedation drips

• Resuscitation medications

• All medications except chemotherapy

Facility Requirements

• Nicotine-Free Facility: Candidates must undergo nicotine testing as part of the screening process.

• Flu Vaccine: Mandatory. No exceptions or declinations will be accepted.

• Candidates must be flexible to float to other campuses when required.
