Shift: 10hr Night Shift (40)Shift Information: 6:00 p.m.–4:30 a.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, except during the employee's scheduled weekend rotation

• AAH will require the Covid vaccine.

Experience: 1 year
First-time traveler: Yes 

Patient Types: 

• Inpatient/Outpatient/ER: all scans are done in the ED; approximately 25-30% are peds (peds experience preferred) 
• Required : general anatomy, stroke alerts, CTA perfusion studies, chest, abdomen, pelvis, head 
• Preferred: coronary studies (TAVRs); Procedural: biopsies, drains 

Patient Ratios: 1:1 

Required Certifications: 

• Required : BLS, ARRT 
• Preferred: ARRT-CT 

Skills required 

• General CT experience in a hospital setting, experience with the above patient types, IV starts 
• Experience with Client Revolution HD 
• Ability to work independently & in a fast-paced, team environment.

Support on the Unit:

• Other CT techs; traveler will be working alone on night shift 
• RRT/Code Blue team 
• Transport available for inpatient scans; CT tech will transport ED patients
• Rad tech also often available for transport assistance 

Charting System/Equipment: 

• EPIC 
• Alaris IV Pumps 
• Pyxis 

Floating: None 

Orientation: At least one shift on the unit to learn flow 

Scheduling: 

• Weekend rotation: every other 
• Can we approve time off: Manager to approve all RTO 
• On call: Yes – overnight, 2x a month (could be weekends) 
• Holiday Expectations: every other major holiday
