Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) - Travel Position
Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (06:30 AM - 07:00 PM), 3 shifts of 12 hours each
Hours per Week: 36
Job Description
- Provide cardiopulmonary services as a Certified Respiratory Therapist.
- Follow approved protocols and department policies to deliver timely diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory care to inpatients and outpatients.
- Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
- Deliver medicated aerosols using medical compressed gas.
- Maintain airways and manage ventilators.
- Perform intubations and blood gas analysis.
- Experience required in ICU, general floors, and Emergency Department (ED).
- Minimal NICU and pediatric experience needed, primarily to support ED coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Arizona
- Respiratory Therapist with at least 1 year of experience, including experience within the last year
- Experience working with pediatric patients
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
