Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) Travel Position

Location: Knoxville, Tennessee
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours

Job Description

Urgent need for an RN in a fast-paced Operating Room environment.
Shift: Days, 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM.
Call required: Night call from 7:00 PM Monday-Friday to 7:00 AM; weekend call consists of 16-hour shifts (details can be discussed).
No block scheduling and no floating.
Patient ratio: 1:1.
Number of beds in OR: 6.
Scrubs provided.
Electronic Medical Record system used: Cerner.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Tennessee
Minimum 1 year of Operating Room experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing / Associate Degree in Nursing
Experience in Orthopedics, ENT Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Urology

Additional Requirements

Must be located more than 50 miles from the facility.
Must include a start date with application submission.
Must include permanent home address with submission.
Travelers submitted without necessary information, requirements, or attachments will be rejected.

Prior travel experience is not explicitly required.
No floating or block scheduling allowed.
Return to Office (RTO) requests must be included with submission.
