Work Schedule

Night shift: 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
Every other weekend required
Approximately 36 hours per week

Job Description

Provide nursing care to adult psychiatric patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies.
Utilize critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to plan and deliver safe patient care.
Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Required Qualifications

Valid RN license in Arkansas
Minimum 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience within the last year
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
State Approved Medication Administration (SAMA) certification required; can be completed at the facility if needed

Additional Information

Position involves accountability for adult psychiatric patient care
Night shift with weekend coverage required
