Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room Circulator

Location: Palmer, Alaska
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Hours per Week: 36 hours
Shift: Days (6:30 AM - 5:00 PM)

Job Description

• Coordinate patient care during surgery, ensuring sterility and managing supplies
• Document surgical procedures accurately
• Float between assignments as needed; no block scheduling
• Call required
• Patient ratio: 1:1
• Operating rooms: 6 beds
• Scrubs provided
• Electronic Medical Record system: Cerner

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Alaska
• Minimum 2 years of Operating Room (OR) experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• Associate of Science in Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing
• Experience in orthopedics, vascular surgery, and urology surgeries

Additional Requirements

• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• Maximum return to office (RTO) time: 2 weeks
• RTO blackout on July 4th
