Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

Location: Statesboro, Georgia
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Mids (10:30 AM – 11:00 PM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Summary

Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation). Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe and effective care delivery. Delegate and supervise patient care priorities based on staff education and experience. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve desired patient outcomes.

Unit Details

• Patient Ratios: 1 nurse to 4 patients
• Beds: 29 in unit plus 8 hallway beds
• EMR System: Cerner
• Scrub Color: Navy
• No call or floating required
• Blocked scheduling with weekend requirements; exact days may vary
• No 48-hour weekly guarantees

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Georgia
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience, including experience within the last year
• Completion of 2 prior travel assignments
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ESI
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

• No maximum Return to Office (RTO) restrictions as long as full-time equivalent (FTE) and weekend requirements are met
• Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care based on clinical nursing practices
