Job Opportunity: Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Location: Palmer, Alaska
Employment Type: Travel Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Provide respiratory therapy procedures for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients.
• Floating between units is required.
• Patient ratio: 1:1.
• Electronic Medical Record system used: Cerner EHR (experience preferred).
• Scrubs color: Black.
• No on-call, no 48-hour shifts, and no block scheduling.
• Maximum return to origin (RTO) time: 2 weeks, with blackout period on July 4th.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).
• Minimum of 2 years of respiratory therapy experience.
• Respiratory therapy experience within the last year.
• Must be able to start immediately (ASAP).
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility.
