Travel RN - Operating Room Circulator

Location: Crestview, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (4 shifts per week, 10 hours each; 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) with on-call duties
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Provide patient care in the Operating Room as part of the surgical team, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR technicians.
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and anticipating patient care needs.
• Responsibilities include ensuring supplies are available, managing case timeliness, communicating with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting during surgeries, and supervising personnel delivering patient care.
• Work according to State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, physician orders, and hospital policies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Florida
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an OR Circulator, including experience within the last year
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, and PALS issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Experience with robotics in the Operating Room

Additional Information

• Position requires on-call availability.
• Work schedule consists of four 10-hour day shifts per week.
