Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room (OR) Circulator

Location: Crestview, Florida
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days (4 shifts of 10 hours each, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM) with on-call duties
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

• Serve as an Operating Room Circulator nurse, collaborating with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR technicians, and other staff to provide patient care in the OR.
• Apply critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering care.
• Responsibilities include ensuring availability of supplies, managing case timeliness, communicating with families, updating physician preference cards, scrubbing and assisting during surgeries, and supervising personnel delivering patient care.
• Work according to the State Nurse Practice Act, AORN standards, physician orders, and hospital policies.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Florida
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an OR Circulator nurse, including experience within the last year
• Current ACLS certification
• Current BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Current PALS certification issued by the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Experience with robotics in the OR
