Description

Cardiac Cath Lab Tech

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 4/10's (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
On Call: 9-10 shifts per month including 1 weekend
Hours per Week: 36

Job Description

Perform duties as a Cardio-Vascular Radiologic Technologist in the Cath Lab.
Responsibilities include scrubbing and monitoring during invasive radiological procedures.
Utilize sterile technique and scrub for cath lab procedures such as angiogram, PCI, complex cases (CTO, L main, PFO, device implant, PE thrombectomy, IR cases, Peripheral).
STEMI coverage is required.
Experience with Impella and IABP devices expected.
Monitor and record on MacLab system; training on MacLab use will be provided.
Maintain knowledge of products and restock procedure rooms as needed.
Scrub color: any solid color.
EMR system used: Cerner.
Structural Heart experience preferred but not required.

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of experience as a Cath Lab Technologist.
Experience as a Cath Lab Technologist within the last year.
ARRT certification required.
