Travel RN Opportunity – Emergency Department

Location: Clarksville, Tennessee

Shift: Nights (6:45 PM to 7:15 AM)
Schedule: Block scheduling allowed
Call/Floating: No call, no floating required
Patient Ratio: 1:4
Number of Beds: 8
EMR System: Cerner
Uniform: Navy scrubs required

Requirements

Current Tennessee or Multistate RN License
Minimum 1 year of experience
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
Skills: Triage, medication administration, IVs, stroke and sepsis protocols
Must live more than 50 miles from the facility

Role Summary

The RN is responsible for providing care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process in compliance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The role requires critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe patient care delivery. The nurse maintains clinical competencies through continuing education, delegates patient care priorities appropriately, and supervises assigned personnel.
