Job Opportunity: Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Travel)

Location: Gadsden, Alabama
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

• Every other weekend call: 7:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Requirements

• CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Minimum 1 year recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Graduate of an accredited AMA school program
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
• Maintains a State License as a general radiographer or Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Description

The Nuclear Medicine Technologist provides timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer a variety of nuclear isotopes for scanning and detecting pathology
• Regulate equipment used for scanning
• Print, develop, and organize films

This position offers an opportunity to work in a hospital setting with a structured schedule and defined responsibilities in nuclear medicine diagnostics and therapy.
