Travel ICU RN Opportunity - New Mexico

Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico
Specialty: Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights (6:30 PM - 6:30 AM), floating required


Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2+ years ICU experience
  • Experience in ER and Medical-Surgical departments required (floating to these areas)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • TNCC certification preferred
  • Experience with ventilators, titratable drips, mixing medications, and patient hygiene preferred

Unit Details

  • ICU unit with 12 beds
  • Patient ratio: 1 nurse to 2-3 patients
  • Scope of role includes total ICU patient care, ventilator management, titratable drips, and hygiene care
  • No call required
  • Holidays required
  • EMR system: MedHost
  • Scrub color: Any

Additional Information

  • Fingerprints required for all New Mexico travelers
  • Blocked scheduling may be accommodated if included in submission
  • 48-hour guaranteed hours are NOT approved

This position requires flexibility to float between ICU, ER, and Medical-Surgical units during night shifts.
