Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room
Location: Oro Valley, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Job Description
- Provide care to Emergency Room patients using the Nursing Process in accordance with state Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies.
- Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership to ensure safe patient care delivery in the Emergency Department.
- Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education.
- Delegate patient care priorities based on staff education and experience.
- Provide direction and supervision to assigned personnel delivering patient care.
- Required to float between departments and sister facilities, including Marana ED and other nearby medical centers.
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Department experience.
- Must hold an active Arizona RN license.
- Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
- Must be willing to float between departments and facilities.
- Experience with Cerner electronic health record system is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) or CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) certification.
- NIH certification preferred.
Shift Details
- Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- 36 hours guaranteed per week
- Rotating weekends
