• Average Daily Census: 8 patients
• Patient Ratio: 6:1
• No call required
• No floating required
• Blocked schedule may be accommodated (must be requested in submission)
• RTO blackout dates: December 15 - January 2
• Scrub color: Any solid shade of blue
• EMR System: Cerner

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1+ years in Med Surg nursing (higher experience requirement applies if conflicting data)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS required
• Skills: IV starts, medication management, wound care, patient assessment, admit/discharge procedures, patient and family education
• Prior travel experience: Not explicitly required

Additional Information

• 48-hour grace hours may NOT be approved
• Scope of role includes assessment, medication administration, wound care, admit/discharge, and patient/family education
