Job Opportunity: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) - Travel Position

Location: Tucson, Arizona
Specialty: Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)
Employment Type: Travel
Shift: Nights, 1830 - 0700 (3 shifts of 12 hours each)
Contract Length: 13 weeks


Job Description

  • Provide cardiopulmonary services as a registered or certified Respiratory Therapist.
  • Follow protocols approved by medical staff and department policies.
  • Deliver timely diagnostic and therapeutic services to inpatients and outpatients.
  • Assist physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures.
  • Deliver medicated aerosols via medical compressed gas.
  • Maintain airways, manage ventilators, perform intubations, and handle blood gases.

Requirements

  • Must have BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
  • Minimum experience in ICU, general floors, and Emergency Department (ED).
  • Minimal NICU and Pediatrics experience required, primarily to cover the ED.
  • Required years of experience in specialty: 1 year
  • No explicit requirement for prior travel experience.

  • Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts, 3 times per week.
  • Experience across multiple hospital settings (ICU, general floors, ED) is essential.
