Job Opportunity: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech
Location: Tucson, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Days, 4/10's (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
On Call: 9-10 shifts/month and 1 weekend per month
Job Description
- Position requires experience as a Cardio-Vascular Radiological Technologist specifically in the Cath Lab.
- Duties include scrubbing and monitoring during procedures.
- Must use sterile technique and have experience scrubbing cath lab procedures such as angiogram, PCI, complex cases (CTO, L main, PFO, device implant, PE thrombectomy, IR cases, Peripheral).
- Structural Heart experience is preferred but not required.
- STEMI coverage is required.
- Use of Impella and IABP devices is expected.
- Monitoring (recording) on MacLab system; training on MacLab use will be provided.
- Responsible for knowledge of products and restocking rooms.
- Scrub color: any solid color.
- EMR system used: Cerner.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Cath Lab specialty.
- ARRT certification required. RCIS certification will NOT be accepted.
Additional Notes
- Prior travel experience is NOT explicitly required.
