Travel Med Surg RN - Poplar Bluff, Missouri

Job Description

• Floating required between two Med Surg units
• Work locations include Med Surg 5th floor (ortho, surgical, stroke), Med Surg/Tele 6th floor (cardiac, respiratory, dialysis, hospice)
• 36 beds total
• Patient ratios: 1:5-7 depending on acuity
• EMR system: Cerner
• Scrub color: Royal Blue
• RTO (Request Time Off) max: 36 hours unless otherwise discussed
• RTO blackout dates may include Easter, Mother's Day, or Memorial Day

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg nursing experience, including experience within the last year
• BLS certification required
• Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)

Additional Information

• 48-hour weekly guarantees are NOT available
• Blocked scheduling requests may be considered but are not guaranteed
• May be required to float to other units
• Reason for opening includes special, internal vacancy, or leave coverage
