Travel Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT)

Location: Moberly, Missouri
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: Nights, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM

Job Description

• Assist in the diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary disorders.
• Collect and analyze sputum, blood, and breath specimens to determine levels of oxygen, carbon dioxide, and other gases.
• Measure lung capacity to assess impairments.
• Perform typical respiratory therapy duties including managing ventilators, administering breathing treatments/nebulizers, and obtaining arterial blood gases (ABGs).
• Work across various units including hospital-wide, Emergency Department, Acute Care Unit, Critical Care Unit, and Specialty Behavioral Health Unit.
• Use clinical judgment and experience to plan and accomplish goals with some degree of creativity and latitude.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Missouri
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist within the last year
• Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

• 48-hour shift guarantees are not available.
• Blocked scheduling may be requested but cannot be guaranteed.
• Typical respiratory therapy scope of practice applies.
