Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Travel Position

Location: Oro Valley, Arizona
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday (8/5's) plus 2 weekend days per month


Job Description

The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) works as part of the physical therapy team to assist the Physical Therapist in delivering patient treatments and managing referred patients. Responsibilities include:

  • Documenting treatment and outcomes
  • Discharge planning
  • Patient, family, and caregiver education
  • Participating in administrative duties and performance improvement activities
  • Pursuing professional growth
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in Arizona
  • Minimum 2 years of Physical Therapy Assistant experience, including experience within the last year
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
