The Mammography Technologist performs high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms using specialized equipment to support accurate breast disease detection. Responsibilities include patient positioning, radiation safety, image acquisition for radiologist interpretation, and ensuring patient comfort and education throughout the exam. The technologist maintains compliance with MQSA and other regulatory standards, completes QA/QC activities, manages equipment care, and ensures accurate documentation and record-keeping. Additional duties may include performing bone density exams and assisting with other breast imaging procedures as needed. Flexibility to float between locations is required, with mileage reimbursement provided.

Requirements: Minimum 2 years of mammography experience, ARRT (M) certification, bone density experience, and current ARRT and BLS (AHA) certifications.
