This Certified Surgical Technologist position supports a high-acuity operating room environment performing a wide range of surgical procedures including neuro, trauma, ENT, orthopedic, robotic, podiatry, urology, and general surgery cases. The role requires strong experience assisting complex surgical procedures, including DaVinci XI robotics and craniotomy cases. The surgical suite includes multiple ORs, pre-operative, and PACU recovery areas with 1:1 intraoperative patient ratios. The CST works closely with surgeons, anesthesia teams, RN circulators, and surgical assistants to ensure efficient case flow, patient safety, and sterile surgical environments. Weekend rotations and call participation are required, with orientation provided prior to independent assignment.
Requirements:
Candidates must have a minimum of two years of operating room experience in a Level I or Level II trauma setting with demonstrated proficiency in neuro, trauma, ENT, robotic surgery, and craniotomy procedures. BLS certification is required, and NBSTSA certification is preferred. Applicants must be graduates of an accredited surgical technology program or hold an associate degree in a healthcare-related field unless nationally certified. Travelers must meet distance eligibility requirements and be willing to participate in call schedules, weekend rotation, and holiday coverage expectations.
