South Dakota or compact RN License
Minimum Experience: 1 year
BLS
CPI (preferred to have prior to start but can obtain on assignment)
Skills: Be able to do a take down and physical restraint on an agitated patient if necessary, verbal de-escalation, group didactic skills, good communication skills; Team Nursing approach – RN will administer their own meds (injectable and PO) pass meds, evaluate care plans and note progress and documentation, admission screens, Assessments, minor wound care, EKGS (we train), glucometer, take telephone or verbal orders, acknowledge orders, vital signs, the Columbia suicide risk screen, end of shift report, log in patient belongings, screenings and discharge planning
