Travel Nurse RN - PACU - Post Anesthesia Care

PACU RN assignment for a 13-week contract with 40 guaranteed hours per week and an ASAP start. This role follows an 8-hour day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The RN will work in a post-anesthesia care setting, supporting patient recovery following surgical procedures. Weekend and holiday responsibilities are tied to on-call coverage, with on-call rotation approximately every 6th–7th weekend. During low census, the nurse may be placed on call, with callback pay applying and a 2-hour minimum if called back. Orientation-week hours are not guaranteed.

Requirements:
Candidates must live outside the 50-mile radius requirement. A valid Wisconsin RN license is required, along with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Applicants must have at least 2 years of PACU experience and be proficient in Epic charting. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong time management, adaptability, resilience, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. An Associate Degree or certificate is required. During flu season, travelers who decline flu and COVID vaccination must wear a mask at all times in compliance with facility policy.
