Emergency Department RN assignment for a 13-week contract with 36 guaranteed hours per week and a start date of 4/27. This role follows 12-hour variable night-based scheduling from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM and includes every other weekend and every other holiday coverage. The nurse may be prescheduled to float as needed to other designated locations, depending on staffing needs. During low census, travelers may be placed on call, and callback pay applies with a 2-hour minimum if called back in. Orientation-week hours are not guaranteed. The contract also allows for low census unbillable hours under facility guidelines. This position is ideal for an experienced ED RN who can adapt to variable scheduling and multi-site support when needed.

Requirements:
Candidates must live outside the 50-mile radius requirement. A valid Wisconsin RN license is required, along with BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications through AHA or ARC. Applicants must have at least 2 years of experience in the specialty and must be proficient with EPIC charting. An Associate Degree or certificate is required, while a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. The nurse must be comfortable working variable shifts, floating to other designated sites when scheduled, and covering every other weekend and holiday. During flu season, any traveler who declines flu and COVID vaccination must wear a mask at all times in compliance with facility policy, with no exceptions.
