Description

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) assignment for a 13-week contract working variable 12-hour shifts (3x12 schedule) in an Emergency Department setting. This role focuses on providing patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment, with an emphasis on pediatric emergency cases. The LPN will assist with clinical procedures, patient flow, and coordination of care while working closely with the healthcare team. The schedule includes every other weekend and some holiday coverage, with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Requirements: Minimum 1 year of LPN experience
Active New York State LPN license required
CPR certification required (or ability to obtain/re-certify)
Emergency Department experience required
Pediatric ED experience required
Must be able to start IVs and perform phlebotomy
Inpatient experience preferred
Experience with Electronic Medical Records preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
