Minimum 1 year of inpatient psychiatric nursing experience required
Recent hospital nursing experience within the past 5 years required
Active Oregon RN license preferred; candidates without an active OR license must be willing to obtain one
BLS and CPI certifications required; may be obtained during compliance if not active at submission
Current specialty skills checklist completed within the past year required
Experience with patient assessment, medication administration, wound/skin care, pain management, and electronic medical record documentation
Strong behavioral health crisis intervention, patient safety, and de-escalation skills
Ability to supervise assistive personnel and collaborate effectively with an interdisciplinary treatment team
Strong critical thinking, patient education, communication, and emergency response skills
Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in an inpatient setting
