Occupational Therapist assignment for a 13-week contract with flexible 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday. Start and end times may vary as long as the schedule remains consistent and is clearly communicated with the Director of Rehab. This role focuses on evaluating and treating patients with cognitive and ADL-related physical functioning disorders in a long-term care or rehab setting. The therapist will develop individualized plans of care, provide skilled and medically necessary interventions, monitor patient progress, and adjust treatment plans as needed. The role also includes patient and caregiver education, discharge planning, interdisciplinary communication, and participation in required meetings, trainings, and rehab conferences. No weekend shifts are required, while any on-call schedule will be determined by the facility.

Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience and prior long-term care or rehab experience. An active Missouri OT license is required at the time of submission. New graduates may be considered only if they have completed Level II fieldwork experience, not just Level I observation. Required submission documents include a current resume, a skills checklist completed within the last year, and 0–1 reference at the time of submission. The therapist must be able to follow all state practice acts, ethical standards, and professional guidelines under NBCOT, AOTA, and applicable regulatory requirements. Candidates should also be comfortable supervising assistants, aides, and students when needed.
