As a Cath Lab RN, you will be responsible for assessing and preparing patients for Cardiac Cath, Pacemaker Implant, Structural Heart and IR procedures. Recovers, monitors and cares for post cardiac catheterization, post cardiac intervention, post peripheral angiography/intervention, post pacemaker and post structural heart procedure patients. Receives direction from: Providers, Anesthesia providers, Nurse Manager, Cath Lab Manager/Director and Charge Nurse. Gives direction to: LPN, CNA.
Requirements:
- RN Nursing program, required
- Pre-Post Cardiac Catheterization, preferred
- Tele or PACU/ICU, preferred
- Current State of Montana RN License, BLS, ACLS, PALS required
- Basic Nursing Principles and Procedures, required
- Critical Care Nursing experience, preferred
- Interpretation of ECG rhythm strips and 12 lead ECG.IV skills, required
