Job Summary

The Histotechnologist performs routine and special Histology procedures requiring technical skill, judgment, and independent decision-making following established standards, policies and procedures.  

Requirements:    

Histotechnologist I Minimum Qualifications:

• Education:  High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

• Experience:  At least one year of laboratory work experience required.  Associates hired into this role prior to 10/15/2022 will be grandfathered into role.

• Licensure/Certification:  None required.

Histotechnologist II Minimum Qualifications:

• Education:  High School diploma or equivalent

• Experience:  None Required.

• Licensure/Certification:  HT (ASCP) registered. ASCP certified.
