Description
Position Overview
Teach engaging, standards-aligned Biology or Earth & Space Science lessons to high school students while creating a positive and structured learning environment.
Develop lesson plans, assessments, and instructional activities that encourage student engagement, critical thinking, and academic growth.
Monitor student progress, provide meaningful feedback, and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
Collaborate proactively with colleagues and contribute to a positive, professional school community.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree
Valid New York City Teaching Certificate
Valid New York State Science Certification preferred
Prior teaching experience preferred
