Cross Country Education is looking for a compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support high school students in developing stronger communication skills and confidently engaging in their school community throughout the 2026–2027 school year in Midlothian, IL.
Position Overview
Provide speech-language therapy services to high school students based on individual needs and educational goals.
Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and monitor student progress to support communication and academic success.
Collaborate with educators, families, and school teams to implement effective speech-language interventions and support student needs.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with applicable special education and school-based service requirements.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement
Experience providing speech-language services in a high school or school-based setting preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills and the ability to manage services across multiple school sites
