Description

Ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students? Cross Country Education is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist in New York City, NY to support students in grades K–8 and help them build the skills they need to thrive in the classroom and beyond.
Position Overview
Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students in grades K–8 in alignment with their individual needs and educational goals.
Collaborate with teachers, staff, families, and other related service providers to support student development and successful inclusion.
Integrate occupational therapy strategies into the educational environment and provide consultation and support to school staff as appropriate.
Maintain appropriate documentation and communicate student progress and needs with the educational team.
Qualifications
Master’s degree or higher in Occupational Therapy
Valid and current New York State Occupational Therapist License
Ability to provide a National Provider Identifier (NPI) number
Experience working within a school or pediatric setting preferred
