Description

Help a young student thrive at school, one day at a time! Join Cross Country Education as a 1:1 Registered Nurse in Clifton Park, NY, and provide the attentive, compassionate care needed to support a safe and successful school experience.
Position Overview
Provide 1:1 nursing care to a preschool student throughout the school day, monitoring health status and responding promptly to medical needs.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered, while following individualized healthcare plans and school health protocols.
Monitor and support the student’s pediatric health needs, including pediatric diabetes, and recognize and respond appropriately to changes in condition.
Communicate and collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers as appropriate to promote the student’s safety, health, and participation in the school environment.
Qualifications
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Active New York State Registered Professional Nurse (RN) License
Current American Heart Association CPR/First Aid Certification
NYSED fingerprint clearance required
Experience caring for pediatric patients, including familiarity with pediatric diabetes management, required; prior school nursing experience preferred
