Ready to help students grow and succeed? Cross Country Education is seeking a Special Education Aide to work alongside teachers and support staff in a collaborative middle school environment in Buckeye, AZ, helping students with autism succeed in the classroom and beyond throughout the 2026–2027 school year.
Position Overview
Provide daily classroom and behavioral support to middle school students in a specialized autism/STRIDE program.
Assist students with academic, social, behavioral, and functional activities while reinforcing individualized learning and support plans.
Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff to create a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment.
Remain flexible to support different classrooms or assignments based on student and program needs.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required, plus one of the following:
Passing score on the ParaPro Assessment
60 college credit hours
Associate degree
Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
Current CPR/First Aid Certification
Experience working with students with special needs, particularly autism, behavioral needs, or special education, preferred
