Help students achieve greater independence and success where it matters most! Join Cross Country Education as an Occupational Therapist (OT) and help high school students build functional skills, confidence, and greater independence through school-based occupational therapy services in Gurnee, IL.
Position Overview
Provide occupational therapy evaluations, interventions, and services to high school students to support their academic, functional, sensory, and daily living needs.
Develop and implement individualized therapy strategies aligned with students’ educational goals and occupational therapy plans.
Collaborate with teachers, special education teams, and other school professionals to promote student participation, independence, and success across the school environment.
Monitor student progress and maintain timely, accurate documentation of evaluations, services, and outcomes.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy
Active Illinois Occupational Therapist (OT) License
Prior experience providing occupational therapy services in a school-based setting, particularly with high school students preferred
