Join Cross Country Education as a Special Education Teacher in Colorado Springs, CO, and provide specialized instruction, IEP support, and differentiated learning strategies to help students achieve meaningful academic and functional outcomes throughout the 2026–2027 school year.
Position Overview
Provide specialized instruction and individualized support to elementary and high school students with diverse learning needs across Resource, Significant Support Needs (SSN), and transition settings.
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), adapting instruction and assessments to meet individual student goals and abilities.
Collaborate with families, educators, related service providers, and school teams to support academic, behavioral, functional, and transition-related outcomes.
Maintain accurate student documentation and progress data while fostering an inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
Active Colorado Teacher License with a Special Education Generalist (Ages 5–21) endorsement
Experience working in high school Resource classrooms preferred; strong knowledge of IEP development, differentiated instruction, and special education practices highly valued
